I have been having so much fun!
I have been having the time of my life these last few weeks. Been going camping in a super awesome bus, went to a dance in Makwa and last night I saw LONESTAR!!! Things are going well. I am stressed about money and stuff but I am sure the feeling will pass. I am probably going to be renting a house in Loon Lake not far from where I work. Actually I am about 90% sure I will be. I can't stay in this one bedroom apartment much longer. And it costs me around $300 in gas a month to drive the 45 minutes to work every day. UGH! But the downside is that daycare will cost a LOT more. Oh well. I am sure I will figure it out.

Thank goodness for good people...
I must really have good Karma. It's a funny thing to say when the car you are driving breaks down, but it's true.
On Tuesday I was on my way to work as usual. I was just going down the hill into the town of Loon Lake and went to downshift into 3rd. Well the car didn't go into gear. Then it wouldn't go into any gear. I pulled over and it was just stuck. The car obviously wasn't going to be taking me the rest of the way to work so I called in to say that I would be walking in and sorry I was late. Well, Diane said she would send one of the boys out to check on me and give me a ride back. Robert came out within a minute and gave me a ride back to the store. Then within a few minutes the boys had gone out and towed it into the lumber yard. I could see it on the camera up front. We talked about what we were going to do with it and I said I had CAA and I could get it towed to a shop as soon as I got a chance to call. Well a very short time later I couldn't see it on the camera in the yard anymore. I just assumed that someone had moved it out of the way. Then John comes out and tells me what the car is going to cost to fix. I was so confused about how they would know that already. Turns out that the boys at my work had already towed it out of town to the mechanic for me and he had already looked at it. I swear all this happened in under an hour and a half.
I had to go and feed the dogs at lunch and I wasn't sure how I was going to get there. Rick said I could take his truck and keep it for a while! Diane gave me a ride out to their house to get the truck and I have been driving it ever since. I am not sure what will happen with the car, but I am hoping to buy it off of Dave.
Besides the fact that the car broke down, everything worked out perfect! It broke down in the right spot at the right time. That's me, forever the optimist.
Last weekend was the best!
The only bad part about my weekend was that Morgan wasn't there. She just recently got out of the hospital from getting her appendix out (the weekend before) so she wasn't feeling up to being terrorized by her brother. She stayed with her Dad all weekend.
On Saturday I helped Carolann fix up her horse fence so she could pull them off the grass for a few hours a day. They are both getting way too fat and needed a diet. I didn't bring enough stuff to fix the fence with so we drove quads cross country to where I have my horses. I have a lot of fencing supplies there. We toured around a bit and she got to see my horses and mini cows. It was a really fun day. Then I ended up getting invited for supper and then her, her Dad (my boss) and I drove out so I could show them the acreage I want to buy.
Sunday Jimmy and I spent a long time at the beach and ate lots of ice cream. I just love living so close to the beaches. You will probably hear me say it a hundred times, but it's true.
